Keeping your bread fresh all week, without plastic — thanks to a forgotten method.
Keeping your bread fresh all week, without plastic — thanks to a forgotten method.

✦ Our story ✦
One Sunday in 2022, holding a sourdough loaf bought the day before that had already gone cardboard, I asked my aunt: "how did Grandma make her bread last all week?"
Her answer changed everything. A cloth. Beeswax. And common sense. No plastic, no box, no tea towel — a method that country bakers passed down for generations, and that we forgot the day plastic became easier.
LoafCare was born from this obsession: bringing this artisan know-how back into every kitchen, perfected by our LoafCare micro-barrier. So that a fresh loaf never ends up in the bin again.

One loaf binned every week is money in the trash. The bag pays for itself.

The bag arrived carefully folded in a lovely package. Thick fabric, crisp print — you can immediately tell it's real craftsmanship. My country loaf stays crusty for 4 days.

I ordered the 2-bag pack with the silicone sling. Perfect for my cast-iron Dutch oven. Both bags are identical, beautifully finished, and the sling makes lifting the hot bread out genuinely safe.
